    Pros

PwC is an incredibly diverse set of people, projects, and opportunities. You will learn more than you can imagine while there and will be compensated well for your time and energy.

    Cons

The culture demands all of you - all of your time, energy, and thought. You will work 50-60 hours a week and be average in terms of time spent. There will be very little downtime as email and phone connectivity means you are always on.

    Pros

Ample opportunities to develop marketable skills and transfer from one practice area to another as desired. Good benefits and better emphasis on employee satisfaction than at rival firms. Strong brand recognition in the marketplace.

    Cons

Political environment can make it challenging to obtain the experiences you need to advance unless you have advocates on the leadership team. Employee population is largely comprised of Millennials.

    Advice to Management

As the company grows and continues to acquire additional firms, ensure that staff have opportunities to connect with leadership and that the culture does not become impersonal.

    Pros

Retirement Benefits, Milestone benefits, Salary, Career Opportunity. In addition to these items PwC Partners will truly fight for their people in down times and make an effort to not lay anyone off. Excellent brand to have on your resume.

    Cons

400 hours over standard required. Metrics outdated and do not account for all job requirements and situations. While there are many opportunities to work with people who are excellent in their fields there are an equal number of opportunities to work with career bureaucrats who offer no value. Also ability to keep up with technology internally very poor.

    Advice to Management

Trim the fat and get workers up to date on what's going on in other markets. There are many PwC employees completely out of touch with reality because they only work in their little segment and opportunities are lost because these people are unable to cross network effectively.

    Pros

Good Pay and the management tries to be as inclusive as possible.

    Cons

The bureaucracy is about as corporate as it gets. When trying to get work done, it becomes near impossible to get quality work out due to the corporate culture there. Upper management wants in on everything.

    Advice to Management

    Give managers more autonomy.

    Pros

great compensation, outstanding benefits, and some of the most amazing people. firm who is well known for developing over achievers and grooming employees to succeed outside of the firm

    Cons

    1) limited growth potential inside IFS.
    2) UNPROFESSIONAL HR Manager for IFS - puts their personal opinions over facts, including perpetuating the rumor mill - creates a highly toxic environment.
    3) absolutely NO work/life balance. they preach, but don't practice

    Advice to Management

look at the recurring issues and research, pinpoint, and take action on the actual problem person. listen to those who are on the ground and closest to the situation.
