Pros – I would say that the firm does pay well, which is honestly one of the few reasons I am still there. Also the people are amazing.
Cons – While I enjoy my coworkers at the lower level, I don't need to spend every waking hour of the day with them. Upper management doesn't seem to understand that perhaps the reason we work so late is that either we are understaffed, or we (as a firm) have taken on too much. Flexibility is phrase that is used often but never truly implemented.
Advice to Senior Management – Manage teams workloads better, by either hiring more employees to share the workload more, which would increase productivity, and turnaround. Or be more mindful of your headcount when in the markets trying to attain new opportunities.

Pros – If you network and put yourself out there and make your desires known, you can accomplish great things at this firm. The company culture is focused on flexibility and the firm stands by this motto, in my case at least. The are endless possibilities to learn, get involved, and put yourself out there but you have to be willing to speak up.
Overall, I enjoy working with my co-workers who are often in their mid to late 20s, and even the leadership, who I have found to have a relaxed persona. Although I have some horror stories, I feel that the healthcare practice is very strong from a culture standpoint.
Great brand recognition; recruiters and other companies realize this and will try to hire you away.
Cons – The pay is mediocre at best, even the CEO Bob Moritz stated on a Townhall that staff members are more likely to get paid if they sought opportunities outside of the firm but it was the "package" that PwC offered, that made PwC a desirable place to work. This is semi-true, a lot of us are just looking to make a certain title and then leave the firm for a higher paying, less strenuous position.
The performance review process needs a lot of work because it is completely subjective. It's basically a game of: 1) who can embellish the most, and 2) who has the most "connected" coach to get you what you want.
HR is not as helpful as you would like them to be.
Advice to Senior Management – Realize that people who are best suited for consulting are not always mother's or people with families. There are a lot of benefits and consolations made for mothers and fathers of families, which has no meaning to those of us who are either single or don't plan on having a family. So essentially you lose out on benefits and flexibility if you don't have a family.
Maybe if you paid more, you could attract and retain higher caliber talent. If you decide to leave the firm, don't expect the firm to try and retain you. You are replaceable.

Pros – Great benifits, you can work from home when needed, very knowledgeable managers, alot of group provided materials on technical issues, and ofcourse, getting a big name on your resume.
Cons – about 70% of your career is dependent on your coach, you can work hard, be knowledgable, get good reviews but if you coach is lazy and doesn't want to present you well, its hard to get promoted.
Long hours, and the problem is 80% of the staff/seniors here are like straight out of school, or with very little home responsiblity. They work like 6days a week, till 8pm on a normal basis, this increases with busy season. So if you don't want to work that much it looks bad.
There proformance ratings- very difficult to get a good or exceeding rating, it is very, very competitive. You have to be, hardworking, popular, professionally attractive, and do all the extra firm crap that has nothing to do with your actual job (aka recruiting, trainings, research). If you miss one of those, points you will go from a 2 rating to a 3 rating. It sucks to do 8 out of 9 things and then fall into the group that just did there work well.
Advice to Senior Management – Be more clear about what is needed for a 2 or a 3 rating. Stop pushing people down from a 2 to a 3. Its rediculous, and annoys everyone.
Be clear about who will get promoted. Management should have an idea in January who will get promoted in July. Don't tell people they will get promoted when you know they wont. Yea you get alittle extra work Jan to April, but when those people find out, and are rightfully upset, you end up having lazy workings from April to until they find another position.

Pros – Good career progression, intelligent colleagues, interesting work, good benefits and training, work life balance, variety in type of work and industries. Opportunities to move around the firm and explore different roles.
Cons – A lot of structure and bureaucracy which can be hard to navigate, too much travel and living in hotels, salary not particularly competitive. Work can be repetitive.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to listen to your employees and making changes based on feedback

I have been working at PwC full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Company has great training, fleexibility and empowers their team
Cons – Hours, hours, hours- need an overhaul of testing procedures.
Advice to Senior Management – We need to have an overview of procedures performed and advice ALL teams on how to test efficiently. Hence cutting back on the hours. Also start auditing early, not September.

I have been working at PwC full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – This place will teach you solid work ethic and how to keep 1,000 balls in the air at once - skills that cannot be overstated. Maybe you'll actually learn some accounting along the way.
Cons – We serve as the slaves of our regulators. Sadly, the substance of understanding our clients has gone the way of completing whatever template we think will get us in the least amount of trouble with the PCAOB.
