    Pros

Great opportunities to interact with and network with high influence colleagues at the Firm and also at the clients. Exposure is significantly higher as a consultant than if you are employed by the clients directly.
Benefits of consulting are nice - expenses, happy hours, etc; as when you're generating revenue for your company they are more likely to treat you to these things.
Significant improvements have been made in the performance evaluation process and how employees are reviewed - less paperwork and more actual rating based on performance.

    Cons

The Firm policy states that employees hired prior to the end of February are eligible for compensation increases (effective July 1) and bonus (paid ~October). Come June, I was informed that leadership made a decision to give zero increase or bonus to all employees who began after 1/1 in my practice (not Firm-wide). Deceiving recruiting and hiring practice.
Work/life balance can be rough at times, as working for clients can introduce a significantly higher level of urgency than working in industry.
Promotions are all politics. Could be a "Pro" if you consider yourself to be great at networking and "BS"ing, but beware that if you aren't at the top of the partners minds, you'll be glossed over.
Benefits suck, including 401k match - 25% of your contributions, capped at 1.5% if you contribute 6%

    Advice to Management

Encourage partners to care about the employees that they represent in career roundtable discussions. It is incredibly difficult to get the time from partners to discuss career goals and solicit advice.

    Pros

Great company to work for, with a great reputation and opportunity to learn. The culture and atmosphere at the company are welcoming and accepting

    Cons

The hours are never easy to get used to. During busy season expect to work long nights and come in on the weekend. During slow months, you can see many associates and sometimes senior associates with nothing to work on. It can get frustrating how there is no steady balance in the work to alleviate some of the work during busy season.

    Pros

Very well structured; Training programs are very good; industry leading clients offering diverse work experience and opportunities.

    Cons

Rigid sructure limiting merit driven growth. sometime policies seem opaque.

    Advice to Management

PwC culture works great for fresh undergrad hire in terms of training and planning growth. However for experienced post grad candidates there needs to be a better scale for evaluation and faster growth.

    Pros

Great benefits (Health, Dental, Vision), a few good perks (mainly come from working long hours), people are great, amazing resume booster, opportunities outside of the firm are endless

    Cons

Long hours, little flexibility (even though it is preached as a flexible firm), doesn't offer enough money for the hours you work, can barely save if you live on your own (especially in NYC)

    Advice to Management

Improve pay dramatically, that will help keep more people around and have more people on each job and ultimately lowering everyones individuals hours.

    Pros

Decent salary, motivated workers for the most part, good tools available, strong future career opportunities if you decide to leave the firm (I.e. Strong resume builder).

    Cons

Work/life balance does not exist. The projects are not diversified. There is a clique mentality. Coaching from superiors is not strong.

    Advice to Management

Performance based pay does exist as the bonuses are insignificant. More focus on performance based pay would increase overall productivity.
