I worked at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company provides great education and training opportunities across the board and the clients are top level fortune 100 companies providing a breadth of experience to younger new employees.

    Cons

The corporate HR structure can provide inflexibility to truly reward high peformers. Implementation of policies and recommendations from partners can be ignored by corporate HR policies.

I have been working at PwC as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company with a lot of prestige. You will work hard, but you will learn a lot. Good flexibility. The people here are knowledgeable and helpful.

    Cons

I will that they had more options for medical benefits. Maybe a HMO? The medical is great, but a bit expensive.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on encouraging your employees

I have been working at PwC full-time

    Pros

Outstanding benefits and empowerment. Great opportunities to advance by owning your career. Lots of support.

    Cons

Continued travel can be difficult. It would be great if there was an opportunity to flex on and off of travel. However, they do have flexibility arrangements and are open to discussion.

    Advice to Management

The firm has so many outstanding and innovative initiatives. It can be hard to keep up with the changing environment! Continue ongoing training and info sessions to support ongoing knowledge sharing and networking.

    Pros

Lots of flexibility, good hours when it's not busy season.

    Cons

Not many; no matter where you go, it's the same work. The people make a huge difference, and PwC has some of the best people you could ever work with.

I have been working at PwC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company culture with awesome people and clients. PwC gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills at a way faster rate than industry. The company also really cares about its people and all you have to do is speak up.

    Cons

Public Accounting in general means you have to work hard and long hours sometimes to get things done. Travel can be excessive too. But most people know that going in.

    Advice to Management

Staff engagements better so that there aren't two people working on a job that should have more people, otherwise people get over worked and the client may not be happy with the results

    Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, diversity program is comprehensive and doesn't hide from real social issues, great pay for interns ($36 an hour)

    Cons

I was limited to 40 hours a week, but many work overtime. Regular Big 4 cons

    Pros
