    I worked at PwC full-time

    Pros

Great place to work. Strong training environment. Leadership encourages diversity. Exceptional programs for women and minorities.

    Cons

A relatively conservative culture driven by the accounting roots, regulations and requirements. Sometimes the restrictions of being part of a public accounting firm go pretty far.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I have been working at PwC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great learning, committed to change, truly live up to their values statement of Excellent People

    Cons

Not all change is good: getting rid of on-premises Executive Assistants as they try to promote their workforce to go Mobile. Meanwhile, the in-house support is suffering needlessly, supplies are depleted, the migration to Google Calendar from Lotus Notes is a very bumpy ride.

    Advice to Management

Google may sound cool, and Drive is a great tool, but you'd be better off going to Outlook than either sticking with Lotus Notes or going Google. Google calendar is just not ready for the business world and lacks essentials needed for success.

When someone is doing a great job, you should try and secure them as a regular employee.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

PwC has a great culture and young atmosphere which helps spark continued innovation, collaboration, and positive changes. PwC moves at a fast pace and has a steep learning curve, but if you can keep up you will see there are several opportunities to grow your career, stepping up and acting a level above your position.

    Cons

Although PwC strives for a good work life balance in offering a 'flexible' schedule, once one hits busy season even if you have a 'flexible' schedule you will not be leaving work at work. Due to the nature of going to clients sites and being mobile, you will be taking work home and always be connected to your email and calendar not always allowing for a true break from work.

    Advice to Management

Take a little bit more time in explaining tasks through all the way, not just providing enough information to complete the task. Taking the extra time to train someone in the beginning will pay off in the long run.
