I worked at PwC as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Great place to work if you're on the right team and have a good manager. Salaries are fair. Hours weren't long. At least for the department I was in

    Cons

Merit and hard work alone unfortunately do not lead to upward growth as the same at most corporate companies.

Upward movement not only depends on your relationship with your direct superiors, but their superiors as well. If they like you and your work is visible to them you'll move up.
