    Pros

    Paid on time Excellent Healthcare Benefits

    Cons

    The rooms in the hotel I was in could not be updated because it was not a priority to the hotel management group (PHG). They looked as if a throwback to the 80's and had none of the amenities people require when traveling (like a flat screen TV- seriously). Without updated rooms the hotel lost a diamond shortly after I found another company to work for. Getting a diamond back is very difficult, and the hotel eventually had to be sold at auction. Lots of people were laid off, so clearly there were some poor decisions made.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the people IN the hotel to find out what will make the business thrive. Motivated people will leave and you will only have whoever is left- and they are usually not the top performers.
