    Pros

Upward mobility, salary, collegiate environment & overall excellent benefits (401k, Medical etc)

    Cons

Constant lay-offs! Massive resource pooling and exit of longtime staff members, some whom had been previously singled out for excellence, as it shifted operations to outsourcing. IMHO, too much unnecessary cost cutting.

    Advice to Management

Way too many well paid middle management, and useless project managers for a company that size.

    Pros

Quiet leader in the industry. Company does care about your success but

    Cons

But.... senior management can't seem to decide which direction to take. There's a constant do over on our mission, our structure, and everything else. You know that mission statement? I think we've had a few the last couple years.

    Advice to Management

Figure it out? Your missteps are costing people jobs.

    Pros

Management sucked, salary sucked. You can't move up. You always got the run around.

    Advice to Management

No amount of advice would do management good at this company.

    Pros

There once were pros for working at the division of QBE I worked for, however once QBE decided to make their Global Transformation it is very diffiuclt to recall the Pros.

    Cons

Executive planners are out of touch with what tools and staffing is needed to achive corporate objectives for the business. Instead of working with front line leaders they make decisions being several levels removed without understanding the down stream impacts to productivity.

    Advice to Management

Excecutive decision makes need to have open discussions with frontline managers in regards to assist in determining the impact re-directing the busienss strategy will have on productivity and the customers.
