I worked at QED Group LLC

    Pros

    Great senior management.
    Congenial atmosphere
Decent salary (for interns at least)
Employees have access to tools to guarantee success
Lots of opportunity to learn new things

    Cons

This company needs to take greater advantage of its in-house personnel. Not much promotion from within, seem to much rather hire outsiders.

I have been working at QED Group LLC full-time

    Pros

Friendly and capable coworkers, but the recent turnover has been extremely high (understandably so). Company current has a couple interesting projects.

    Cons

Disorganized processes and minimal investment in resources to do your job. Erratic workload with people leaving so frequently. Tense work environment and unprofessional conduct in meetings by some senior management. Talk of professional development opportunities never materializes. Poor salaries and benefits, no sick days. Executive team makes decisions on a whim with little transparency, staff are losing trust, inefficient HR doesn't help matters.

I have been working at QED Group LLC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Small enough for learning the whole aspect of the business. Good mid and junior level people to work with. Not far from two Metro stops and close to everything downtown.

    Cons

No work life balance, no personal growth, no leadership, no accountability from the senior employees. Huge turnover throughout the mid and junior level of the organization. The owner is out to lunch and has rose colered glasses and the leadership which she selected is running her organization to the ground.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Without good employees, an organization will never be successful. The owner and senior manager needs to stop being in denial about the health of the organization and reinvent themselves. If they don't, the situation will only get worse. Wake up and smell the coffee before it is too late.

I have been working at QED Group LLC

    Pros

this company is growing from small buisness to medium business and they have a very friendly atmosphere within the company

    Cons

the company has not adjusted to managing growth. its a very hierarchical structure, and no teamwork collaboration is encouraged. QED's evaluation system is inadequate. it evaluates its team leaders around the world through HQ office, while it is supposed to take in the feedback of its project staff to figure out how the team leader has performed in relation to the work and the team. It often uses personal relations when dealing with mishaps rather than professionalism, and does not stand its grounds when wrong is being done right under their noses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

create a teamwork environment from top down

I worked at QED Group LLC

    Pros

they have a great benefits package w/ free gym membership and a very capable HR team with adequate attention to employee professional advancement

    Cons

I can only speak to the 2 projects I was involved in, not much company-wide collaboration. An acrimonious company culture that made it very unpleasant to come to work combined with senior project staff that couldn't get along or always seemed to be planning their own escape.
