    Negative Outlook

    Pros

I was able to implement processes that had not been in place before, like using assessment nights for recruiting instead of 121 interviews that take forever with high labour turnover

    Cons

Bullying management, long hours, no recognition, different departments were treated differently, management had all the peaks and the staff were not treated with respect

    Advice to Management

Needs to be a more fair and consistent approach amongst the hotel, this would help with the high labour turnover

    Pros

Definitely a great place to work. Not only are most of the positions casual, meaning it's great for students (or those with family overseas) but they are also very flexible in the shifts they can allocate you.

    Cons

Unfortunately during the summer season it can be very quiet due to lack of business at the hotel, meaning it probably wouldn't be suitable for someone who needs a guaranteed monthly income (however there are many jobs in which you are contracted hours too). It does get very busy during the build up to Christmas however
