Pros
Very nice people to work with, comfort workspace and kitchen!
They are all audio professionals and many PHDs!
Best company I've ever worked with so far.
Will look for the same kind of company again
Cons
not satisfied with the salary
I am not blaming the company
it is just the reality - all companies do the same thing - developers(or sales) the first, but QA always the last,
Advice to Senior Management
great job guys!
keep going!!
Pros
Excellent OS and some very smart and capable people to work with.
Cons
Bad management at all levels.
Advice to Senior Management
Recognize the contribution of your employees. Have a long term plan to make the company successful and grow that the employees believe in.
Pros
Very good information sharing so you can get your job done with the minimum of bureaucracy, flexible hours, sociable management and friendly supportive work environment
Cons
Occasional bugfix tedium that the entire company is engaged in, sometimes lack of working space / office space, commute can be long
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what you're doing to stay competent, seek out and reward high valued employees to stay competitive
Pros
Great technology, excellent engineering talent, brilliant vision
A chance to make a real difference in the direction of a terrific product
Open software implementation that gives anyone the chance to use a world-class embedded product
Cons
Miserable marketing - no understanding of the embedded market or what customers really want
Inability to hit a deadline
Decisions made by uniformed people in positions of authority
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to customers, stop chasing the latest 'shiny' thing, focus like you say we should
Make a product that installs well, is easy to use, works first time and runs flawlessly.
