I worked at QSI Healthcare (More than a year)

I have been working at QSI Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It is a good company to get your foot in the door if you are newer in the industry. There is a good time off policies and there is not much micromanagement, unless there is an issue. Good work-life balance. Its hard to find a good work-life balance company that offers growth, this is not the place for growth.

    Cons

No growth opportunities. If you are good at your job, you can expect not to move anywhere. I have been there over 5 years, received my higher degree in that time and received numerous great yearly reviews but turned down to move within the company. They bring you in at a lower salary if you are less experienced, then keep you at your same position when you excel at that position. They have lost many bright talented employees over the past few years due to this.

This company is rapidly declining. Bad management, bad budgeting, can't meet product deadlines.

I have been working at QSI Healthcare full-time

    Pros

There are some great employees, and people who really do care about the product and customers.

    Cons

Bad leadership, bad budgeting, can't meet new product deadline, lots of layoffs.

    Advice to Management

You could go a long way if you cared about your employees. You're most concerned with launching your NG7 line, then laying a lot of people off. Hire within your budget guidelines, and hold your managers accountable.

I have been working at QSI Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good work life balance. After 7 No women employee should be in office 9-6 work Good hikes

    Cons

Most months you will not have any work to do and would be sitting idle and wasting time. Micro managing at all levels. Poor and incompetent managers. They hire all engineers from Product companies but all managers from service based Indian companies who bring in there service based silly practices to trouble their engineers. Bad cafetaria Bad cab management. They will not provide you cab if you don't have 3 people coming from your area and they don't mind leaving you 5 kms away from your house if you stay 5km from the National highway. They will send you to US for 1-3 weeks max and would ask you to sign a bond of 9 months.

    Advice to Management

Please Hire managers from Product companies. This is a great company to work but please don't make it worse for the employees by making them led by managers who have no clue how products are built and how product companies work.

I have been working at QSI Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free lunch. Female employees have to leave office by 7PM. Strictly, female employees are not allowed to work from office after 7PM.

    Cons

HR Department is for everything except maintaining Human Relationship. Policies are not employee friendly. Your request for Leave Without Pay will be granted, but the request for Work From Home will be declined by HR even if the project demands overtime. No onsite opportunity before 3 years. After 3 years, you will be given onsite opportunity for 15 days only if you agree to sign a 9-month contract.

    Advice to Management

None. It falls on DEAF ears.

I have been working at QSI Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

company is good but management is totally not employee friendly.

    Cons

Too many to list out. 1. Micro management is on extreme level, No respect to the employees. Only people who is close to management will get good hikes and bonus. 2. All the managers and directors are not worth for that position at all. Most of the admin people and staff will keep targeting on one or the other and they keep saying you are in black list if you are targeted. 3. No onsite oppurtunities, If you get one please be ready to sign for 9 months bond just for 15 days trip. 4. People here are good at politics and nothing else.

    Advice to Management

Come on guys, None of the employees are fools. Improve your skills in handling employees and hire a suitable person for the opening. My manager was from a call center background and wants to implement all those rules in an IT company. Technical knowledge is zero and he does not know what i work. Even if you leave office early by 5-10 mins you need to seek permision on every occassion. People who work on evening shifts, if they need to leave some 5-10 minutes earlier sometimes (once in 2-3 weeks maybe), need to go through policies in order to get an approval for leaving that 5-10 minutes earlier. I mean to say what is this...!!!....Seriously...... Management people, You guys are frogs in a well. Please come out and see how companies are growing and expanding. Fire all the management staff including MD.
