Pros
In san diego this is the best company to work for since there are not many options and among all other company it provides the best package and environment.
Cons
Salaries are not competitive. Bonus are bad and advancement opportunity is not much. Also, unless you know people well, its hard to move from one department to another.

Technically very sound company and will keep you busy.
Cons
as company is not growing so few opportunities for career growth. Also, you need networking within Qualcomm to grow. If you are not organic you are nothing. Also, Company focus is HW and not SW.
Advice to Senior Management
We need to carefully look at the sheer number of Tape out Qualcomm is doing and how they are benefiting the OEMs....sometime it feels like Qualcomm management believes in running fast but not smart.

Best city to live and raise kids. reasonable house market. good benefit.
