Pros
A unique experience to think about the future. Highly intelligent people who want to change the world for the better.
Cons
Highly engineering focused. Company needs to focus on the business problems solved. Business analysis sometimes takes a back seat to futuristic projects dictated by the engineering organization.
Advice to Senior Management
Company needs to focus on the business problems solved.

Good benefits and facilities
Many opportunities
Focus on the employee compared to other companies
Technical competency is rewarded (although less so than in the past)

Not sure if innovation leader (compared to Google)
Advice to Senior Management
Innovation and technology is the source of differentiation. All the business advantages will not last as long. Continue to treat the employees well.

Cons
Poor turnover. Lack of opportunities beyond engineering
Advice to Senior Management
Need to expand marketing to make Qualcomm a household name
Pros
Qualcomm is a leader in mobile wireless communication. The products you work on impacts everyone because everyone owns a mobile phone or table these days.
Cons
Restrictions on promotion. Difficulty on finding documentation. Work can be quite stressful.
Pros
Great Health Plan
Performance Reviews Twice a Year
Challenging Work
Cons
A lot of work going "off shore"
People who make mistakes are not always held accountable
Advice to Senior Management
Need better communication on strategic plans
Work environment can differ greatly from team to team
Pros
Flex-time, comfortable space, drinks and snacks provided, large company events are common, excellent benefits
Cons
Very few negatives, however this is a technology based firm so if you do not have a science background you may be limited
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work
Pros
Great Technology, open-door policy, team work
Cons
Some positions have limited grow space
Pros
Lots of growth opportunity and managers that care. And the health benefits are really great. Come on in and welcome to qualcomm!
Cons
Salary tends to be only average for the field positions but the health benefits are good. May have to put in weekends during hard times.
Advice to Senior Management
There is a bit of separation between the leadership and project managers. Work more on communication between the two. Otherwise that's it!
Pros
Qualcomm is working on some cutting-edge , fast-to-market wireless technologies, which allows all its employees, irrespective of the job title, to be part of contributing to the rapidly changing mobile industry.
Cons
I feel the downside of working at Qualcomm headquarters is the probably the long work hours and aggressive project delivery schedules
Advice to Senior Management
from my perspective, the leadership at Qualcomm is doing a great job. Having been in the industry for a year, I do not have any advice to the management just yet :)
Pros
Great people and great job location. The work space is great. Everyone has an office so if you like to have your private time at work .. them its great. I personally hate cubicles so the office idea was great.
Cons
promotion is very slow. The diversity within the company is that great. Too much of indians which isnt a bad thing but I personally prefer an environment that is more diverse. People tend to work long hours.
Advice to Senior Management
The company should strive for more diversity within the company. I like to see more people from a minority back ground in leadership positions
