    I worked at Quad/Graphics full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Steady paycheck. Awesome co-workers.

    Cons

Poor work life balance. Mandatory overtime. Poor raises. If you're promoted you do NOT receive a raise. When you do receive a raise it is very small. Forced to do the work of multiple people by youself. 12 hour days with no or only one 20 minute break.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop mandatory overtime. Pay employees what they are worth. Your turnover is high for reason.

I have been working at Quad/Graphics

    Pros

Able to learn many things and techniques that can make a positive difference in your everyday life. A lot of their principles are very sound.

    Cons

Things are done the QUAD way or it is WRONG. I feel sorry for some of the companies that deal with Quad.

    I worked at Quad/Graphics

    Pros

Very strong in growth and the people at the location levels are well grounded.

    Cons

Growing larger and more work but trying to get it done with less people. This causes tension throughout the company especially in the location levels.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the people around you just like you preach in your "Leading with Quad" classes. Quad was built to succeed but in my opinion since the owner has passed, its now just for how much money it can make.

    Pros

Quad has great benefits, great salary, 401k, and paid vacation.

    Cons

Their really isn't much to say bad about the company except they are closing our plant before we got to reap the benefits of being Quad.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay true to your Culture and Values it sounds great.

I have been working at Quad/Graphics full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Modern communications and corporate training/scheduling. Most of this is done online through e-mail and through the company website. Facilities are clean and organized with an increased focus on maintenance over previous corporate owners.

    Cons

While some of the training mentioned above is available online, the rest requires to come back into work on days off for brief(1 hour to 4 hour) training. Some paid and some not paid. Local Management occasionally ignores state labor laws with the refrain("we'll fire anyone that sues us."

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should never have temps as long as we do(over 6 mos).

    Pros

Only work 7/14 days. Not a tough job mentally but can get very physical.

I have been working at Quad/Graphics full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    - at least you have a job right? no, you can do better.
    - motivation to find a better employer or entrepreneurship.
    - I feel good when I get out of work.

    Cons

-Management always nervous of being fired so they take it out on employees
    -Low pay
    - Atmosphere is depressing because nobody cares
-I get nauseous every day I walk into work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Joel Quadracci should resign. I understand buying companies to acquire growth by acquisition but alienating your workers doesn't equate to dollars and definitely not morality.
