Lots to offer

Program Analyst (Current Employee)
San Diego, CA

I have been working at Qualcomm full-time for more than 8 years

ProsLots of flexibilty and resources at your reach. Qualcomm is demanding but it also provides many services for its employees and does the best it can to make sure you dont leave. Cafes, Gym's, Pools, basketball/volleyball/tennis courts.

ConsMany hours of work are expected. Work life balance is non-existent if you are in a higher positon. The work culture is to work days, nights and weekends. Employees will hit your car in the parking lot and dont bother leaving a note

Great company, diverse opportunities

Engineer (Current Employee)
San Diego, CA

I have been working at Qualcomm full-time for more than a year

ProsMultiple groups, diverse opportunities, strong engineering culture with management coming from engineers instead of MBAs

ConsHours depend on group, limited direct-to-consumer products, extra-specialization required to really contribute, large cohort of engineers 5+ years in the company so limited growth potential for new engineers

Procurement, finding your place within a group of people can sometimes be a challenge.

Buyer (Former Employee)
San Diego, CA

I worked at Qualcomm full-time for more than 5 years

ProsTheir compensation and benefits are great.

ConsIt is a great company to work for, but if you don't fit in or work with a bunch that are difficult to get a long with, then all the Pro's just won't seem all that important if you are miserable.
