I have been working at Qualcomm

    Pros

Leadership embodies the values they espouse, very collaborative and some wicked smart engineers. Company believes anything is possible and will work to make that true. Benefits are very good.

    Cons

Pay isn't the greatest and planning could be better ... planned. Not much in the way of career planning either - you just keep slogging away until its your turn to be promoted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Revisit pay structure across the board - not just the top execs.

    I worked at Qualcomm

    Pros

The company culture is innovation, and the people here truly uphold that. I was always learning and being challenged. All my coworkers were friendly and willing to answer my questions. This is an engineer's dream of a company.

    Cons

I've heard that your experience at Qualcomm varies from team to team. However, from the interns and full-times that I've talked to, those "bad" teams are quite rare here.

Excellent work life balance, the best health care and other benefits, good pay, good co-workers and teams

    Cons

Uninteresting projects, too much hierarchy inhibits growth, innovation and motivation

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Even though the managerial structure follows a hierarchy, it would be nice if it didn't have to show in the workplace so evidently and encouraged open and flat communication.
