The performance review system is very fair

I have been working at Qualcomm as an intern for more than 3 years
Pros – I've interned for a few summers in different departments so I have some perspective on this.
-Lifestyle. As an intern, they don't want you to have a bad experience. You won't bring work home, and you won't work overtime. Period.
-Responsibility. People at this company have integrity. Everyone understands the impact the company makes on the world and is respectful of that responsibility. Jerks are noticeably sparse here.
-Relationships. As an intern, you get to meet a LOT of other interns from all the top Engineering programs across the country and the world. This is the single best part of being an intern at Qualcomm. The relaxed atmosphere outside work lets you bond with your peers better than at school! Interns are housed close together (but not too close) to nurture a sense of community and belonging. Oh yeah, and the really awesome housing is completely covered for all interns. Soft beds, lots of pillows are the little touches that make the summer awesome.
-Help. HR is very friendly and willing to help you make the most of your summer. Great support system of people.
Cons – Communication/Language barriers. But this is more a reflection of the market for hardware and software talent.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep growing the intern program! The more the merrier.

-Projects can be fun and useful for your education.
-Smart people
-Amazing people who love to have fun.
Cons – -Projects are not always useful, it just depends on your manager.
-Managers are not always the best. Some want you to work way too much and don't explain.
Advice to Senior Management – Check what the projects for the interns will be so that they may be useful and fun. Make sure that the managers that get interns have good people skills.

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern for less than a year
Pros – Competitive pay, paid for travel to and from San Diego, provided luxury housing all summer, many intern activities to keep us busy outside of work and help make friends, encouraged learning/job shadowing, and had many seminars to connect the interns with senior level management. I have been working at Qualcomm full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Smart people, innovative culture, great learning opportunities, relatively small-size someone that helps in networking, reasonable managment team, secure job with less layoffs.
Cons – The company has more potential to explore new business opportunities but decision making is slow and sometimes not right! The company has layer of VPs and leaders who are not working as should be to move the company to the next level. it will be better to have more energetic leaders that are sincerely want to help the company to continue its success.
Advice to Senior Management – Identify potential leaders and promote them to lead the company to more success.

I have been working at Qualcomm full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Qualcomm has a great business culture and plenty of smart people to work with. Lots of opportunities if you want to work on different projects and move around the company. Discounts and some events are given out to employees. Most employees are happy to work at Qualcomm and it has good name recognition.
Cons – IT budgeting is tight which doesn't help with providing us with the tools to increase our productivity.
Higher ups can get a bit political which can get in the way of collaboration.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't be political. Encourage collaboration. Share ideas and allow teams to work together.
