    Pros

It's nice to meet people from such varied places and for varied reasons. It's great to help people.

    Cons

I hate talking on the telephone, especially when there are guests directly in front of me who also need my assistance.

    Advice to Management

Get the money holders to bring the rooms into the 21st century. If the property can't have new carpet perhaps it can have a new telephone system at least.

    Pros

This was my first job out of the Army. It job helped me get experience working with customers and handling money.

    Cons

There was almost no training. I was placed on the night shift and was left to fend for myself. The pay was really lousy. Management expected the employees to go above and beyond, yet were unwilling to provide pay above the minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

Institute a comprehensive training program. Ensure that any on the job, supervised training does not end after a set number of days but after a set number of hours actually interacting with customers.
