    Pros

Recent experience has been that salary has been paid on time, rather before time. Good work and seems that the company is doing a promising work.

    Nothing as such till now

    Pros

sometimes repetitive job lack of creativity

    Advice to Management

    more hands on

  6. Fine work, but terrible remuneration.

    Pros

Excellent learning opportunities. Always feel good on the work we do. In fact no words to describe the are of work. It's brilliant.

    Cons

Definitely a condescending work environment. Fellow co-workers have a very low confidence level on one other. Terrible remuneration and no incentives, makes me feel exploited / ignored.

    Advice to Management

Management commits to many remuneration benefits to employees, which seldom becomes real and this makes everyone feel mocked, dejected and disappointed. Please learn to treat everyone with some respect regarding this issue. This is one big problem working here, and it's very annoying.

I have been working at Quantum Inventions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good technical team. The CTO is good in terms of technic.

    Cons

Management is not good. Salary delay for 1-3 weeks is very very common in this company, sometimes more than 1 month delay. They don't care about the salary delay and never apologize or explain why salary is delayed. Maybe they take holding stuff's money as granted.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are the ones who create your product, try your best to keep a stable team.

    Pros

    - Seems to be no pros!

    Cons

    - Does not encourage learning - Does not follow employee's desire of work - Does not follow industry practice for software development: no testing, random design, ... - Micromanagement - Interchange to different job scopes at random time - No schedule, randomly assign task at the end of the day - Average salary with no bonus, minimum pay raise

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employee, not your middle management.

A company where having the same ethnicity is more valuable than actual merit.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Quantum Inventions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Given the somewhat-low-passing entry level of many of the positions - software engineers and designers included, the remuneration tied to the person's work is relatively reasonable, albeit quite low compared to most similar companies of the same industry.

    Cons

Lack of career progression may be one of the many stumbles in this small-sized company (having less than 20 people), but the greatest culprit has to be the management of teams within the organization. Heavy-handed micromanagement is freely exercised as to how often emails should be checked, as well as overt controlling of working policies such as checking-in of work via Control Versioning Systems (CVS), all point to signs of bureaucracy, despite the fact that the CEO himself openly stating that he wished to maintain a "start-up" culture. Knowledge-sharing is not encouraged, which means that people are always left in the dark as to what processes and tasks are performed. In the past few years and months, the number of locals hired (interns included) is declining steadily, all pointing to signs of preferential treatment towards certain ethnicity, and attributing all "merit" and "work well-done" to such (preferred) people. Coupled with poor hygiene (falling sick is very common) as well as a constant delays in office shift schedule, it is easy to see that career prospects from there are low at best, career-destroying at worst.

    Advice to Management

Learn to value engineers and their efforts instead of listening to only the middle management. Provide actual training courses instead of leaving people to their own devices so that they can be empowered.
