Pros
Local management was good but regional was not!
Cons
Doesn't value employees. No on-going training and development
Advice to Senior Management
Hope buy-out by Quad will bring this company forward.
Pros
Good opportunities for self growth. Lots of freedom. You can learn whatever you are interested in if you can spend the time.
Cons
Financial stability of company and always pending layoffs. Trying to minimize work force leads to too much on your plate. Allways have to watch your back.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your employees with respect. Stop putting on multiple hats. The reason the other jobs were invented is because they need someone paying full attention to it.
Pros
It has been reliable work for 20 years for me. The advancement procedure seems to be fair.
Cons
Insurance keeps going up , but no cost of living raises, the raises are small and insurance usually takes all of it.
not a 38.35 work week for all employees year round.
Advice to Senior Management
Follow thru on what you say your going to do. Be honest! Work on better communication throughout the company.
Pros
The benefits are relatively good.
Cons
The don't generally promote from within. The don't consult with the employees when making changes. In the fourth quarter its a 12-14 hours
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the employees. Don't make monumental changes in a department without consulting with the team that does all the work. If you don't communicate with the employees and your building a system, your output from that won't be beneficial in the long run. Remember that the morale of of the group is largely impacted by not so thought out plans. The morale is really pretty bad. The training for new hires is really non-existent.
