    Questionable future..

    Manager (Former Employee)

ProsQuest gave me the opportunity to learn a lot during my tenure. Compensation and benefits were fair (but expect them to continue to decline).

ConsA company in transition and all the pain that comes with it-job insecurity, outsourcing, reduction in benefits, do more with less.... Work-life balance varies by role and department. Don't expect support for upper management.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop looking out only for yourselves.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Good starter job, horrible management

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI learned a lot, but once I learned everything I could for my position there was no opportunity to move forward with my career. Compensation and benefits are good.

ConsManagement treats you like a number not as a person and your co-workers are watching your mistakes so they can point them out and make you look bad and make themselves look good.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop the favoritism. Realize that any score below 80% on an employee satisfaction survey is not good and you need to find out how to fix the problem instead of blowing off the results of the survey as just a few disgruntled employees.

ProsThey provide your uniforms at no cost to you. Pay is competitive. Benefits are good.

ConsNo advancement, no job security, no thank you for your hard work.

Advice to Senior ManagementLack of communication.

Not a good fit for me

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe BEST employees I have ever worked with. Hard working people who care about the customers that they work with

ConsNot the position that I interviewed for. Sales and service don't mix. Leadership from top seems to make it up as they go. No room for career advancement.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop focusing on the negative and stop buying the business. Spend the time and the $$ on getting better insurance in network coverage.

    Lab week? What lab week?

    RSR (Current Employee)
    Atlanta, GA

Pros401k company match, good choice of investments

ConsNo recognition for anything. If you dont work in one of the big labs dont expect anything, its left up to your manager and if he/she doesn't feel like taking the time its like you are invisible. Not even a verbal recognition on Lab Week.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe sure your managers are doing their job.

Going through Times of Change & Instability

ProsGreat company to work for. Casual dress, benefits offered after 90 days, and laid back work environment. Advancement opportunities with good performance and attendance. attendance policy is not overly strict after training.

Consduties of position can get a bit repetitive. Supervisors will stay on you if your stats are not up to par. Some supervisors micro manage.

Great job! But felt I was retaliated against.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGreat pay and hours. PTO was great also. Loved my job, specimens and clients.

ConsNo cameras in lab for management to be able to see what happens, so that there is no denial or gray area, if a employee has a concern.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to take concerns seriously and take steps to resolve them, immediately. Also, keep person that has a concern confidential. Get some sort of video surveillance in lab. Have EEOC discussions also, at least once a year, if not more often.
