Quest Software Reviews
-
Pros
This company has a lot of different software applications. Offices around the globe which may present traveling and career steps.
Cons
Quest has been buying smaller software companies like crazy. After being acquired by this software giant. Fifty percent of the employee base was let go. With in the next year, two more realignments (lay offs) occurred. Key people let go due to their product being discontinued. Truly not knowing about the people who know what they are doing versus the numbers on the piece of paper.
The moral of this company is low, buying up all the competitors has taken away any real competitive energy in the office. They seem to be more about buying company's then designing software.Advice to Senior Management
Stop focusing so much on who to buy and more on the people who make the products. Try recognizing other departments besides sales. Share holders are important but your employees should be just as equal if not more.
