    Pros

    QL has a great, genuine caring culture. The extended leadership team are smart and business savvy. They involve people in decision making but are not bureaucratic.
    Company is very focused on growth - both company's and employees

    Cons

    Gotta update the furniture! The building is a little tired, but I hear there are plan in the works for an update

    Advice to Management

    Keep the culture going strong - keep sharing with employees, including rewards!

    Pros

    the work is exactly what one studied for in school, great place to learn into the field. will be part of many aspects of design work

    Cons

    probably need to earn the privilege to have own project and that depends on time and availability of projects, not a bad thing

    Pros

    Small company with start-up enthusiasm. The company has a close family feel, and you get to know everyone in the company. Co-workers are approachable across departments, and there isn't too much red tape to get things done.

    Cons

    Little to no training or structured knowledge transfer. The products are not what one would consider cutting edge. There is dissension within the ranks that the management may not be aware of.

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to career goals of employees, and how to facilitate growth.

    Pros

    * Many companies give lip service to the idea that 'we care about our employees' , but in QuickLogic's case, this is true.
    * Fast moving customers and markets
    * GREAT work-life balance opportunities
    * Good people

    Cons

    * Some resistance to change amongst employees
    * Smaller company = limited resources
    * Shift from older product focus to newer product focus hasn't happened quick enough

    Advice to Management

    Keep driving forward. You know better what is happening in the company than any management team I've ever had. Keep on that path!!!

    Pros

    Quicklogic generally has a friendly culture, decent pay and good benefits. Most positions have a good life balance.

    Cons

    The senior management is clueless, starting from the top down. Some very smart people, but you really need exceptional vision or exceptional technology to make it in semis and QL has neither. They are living off past products and a few limited market new ones. The Board has been a bit more assertive in recent years, but doesn't ever seem to ask the hard questions. It can be an OK place to work for a while but the company is not now on a stable path and turnover/layoffs happen fairly frequently.

    Advice to Management

    Resign

    Pros

    The benefits are good. Pay is decent, though not that great.

    Cons

    The company is going down, it's just a matter of time. Morale is low, lots of politics.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff. Look at their strengths and find ways to use them. Come up with a strategy/vision that is realistic and worth pursuing. Wake up to the facts!
