Overall, a great place to work. Owned by public company now, but still has a lot of family owned feel about it.

I worked at Quickie Manufacturing full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers and vacation time when you want it.

    Cons

Planning is terrible. Management hasn't a clue as to what is going on in production areas. Health Insurance benefits could be better. Supervisors praise you one minute, then throw you down to the ground with criticism - moral is terrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get with the plan and manage the company.

I have been working at Quickie Manufacturing

    Pros

This place was bought by Jarden which is a plus but they honestly leave the company kind of "as-is" and not many improvements have been made.

    Cons

It's a old company with old principles. It's a manufacturing company and the leaders of the company did not know what lean six sigma was... this is in 2011! There isn't any room for ideas or growth but that is probably why they have a warehouse full of Clean Flips that still haven't sold and are doing poorly against the Swifer in today's market. I worked there for less than a year and had to quit. I work for a fortune 300 company now and I rather work as a waiter than for Quickie again.
