    Pros

    They treat their employees respectfully and give every person in the company a chance to rise within the ranks. They promote from within almost exclusively. Great pay, very friendly people to work with. It's a great job whether you want a 40 hour per week schedule or just a few shifts each week to work around your schooling.

    Cons

    Can become monotonous. If you are just a regular clerk, expect to lose some hours in the winter. Customers can sometimes be a pain.

    Pros

    Benefits are awesome. They treat employees well.

    Cons

    Schedules are long and horrible. Standing on your feet for 10 hours a day, without breaks, hurts. Store managers start at 5am everyday.

    Healthy food has no place in QT. They wont sell it. They almost refuse. They are feeding obese people and dont care. I once asked when we were going to start selling healthier options to our customers. The respose was "When we can make money on it, we will sell it." Such a self serving answer.

    QT has expanded so much in the last few years that it has changed the outlook in the company. Everyone is so driven to make more money...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Care about what you are providing and not so much about the money that it brings in. There is a niche for healthy people; we could be a part of it.

    Awesome benefits if you've worked there for over five years
    Decent pay and bonuses
    Part-time schedule flexibility
    Most employees have fun, outgoing personalities

    Cons

    Full time schedules are terrible. If you work here say goodbye to sleep or your social life. You can't have both.
    Employees working in stores in bad areas will have a hard time not becoming extremely cynical.
    Promotion process needs reworking. The best person for the job might not always get it

    Competitive. Friendly. Forty hour work weeks.

    Cons

    Advancement isn't easy unless you know someone in the company. The wrong people get put in the wrong higher positions. Seems like the company cares more about the quality of the products instead of the way the employees feel.

    Above minimum wage, bonuses at holiday, they work around your schedule, and a raise every 6 months.

    Cons

    Only hire entry level positions.

    Pros

    - in fortune 100's top companies
    - not a public company so the only share holders and QT employees
    - 95% of managment and corporate positions are held by people that started as clerks
    - payed weekly (direct deposit)
    - many, many benefits
    - almost all of the managers are very down to earth, and the chain of command is laid out well enough to solve most store team problems

    Cons

    Depending on where your store is you might encounter a few less than nice people but hey, thats how sales go.

    Good pay, good benefits, good structure

    Cons

    Promotion system is a little flawed. Assistant managers are often young and too immature for authority given to them.

    Special promotions should be allowed for employees with degrees. The upper tiers of the company and some of the outside help employed need more input from clerks at the stores in developing policies and design of the stores.
