    Pros

quick growth, intellectual engagement, industry exposure, team work

    Cons

zero work-life balance, rigid structure, concentration of power

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

360 degree feedback, de-centralization of decision making power, appraisals to be given by immediate managers and not support team

    Rigid and Centralized

    I worked at QuisLex

    Pros

    Pros:
    -They pay on time.
-Decent expat package allows heavy savings.
    -Generally friendly coworkers and management.

    Cons

    Cons:
-Very misleading about work hours during recruitment. 14-hour days are not uncommon, where there are only four or five hours of actual work but you're expected to stay on-site. Terrible work flow process. It is imposible to make any plans during the week, as you never know if you're leaving at 6 or 11. No work-life balance.
-Annoying security paranoia. Layer after layer of redundant guards, sign-ins, fingerprinting. During one work day I counted 80 fingerprint scans. A quick bathroom trip requires four scans.
    -Poor training and unclear expectations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Streamline the workflow. It's a miserable experience to be expected on-site for such long hours with so little work. Clearer expectations. There are no written standards or protocols for the positions. More autonomy for employees.

I have been working at QuisLex full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

QuisLex is firmly positioned at the top end of the market, with a loyal stable of clients that includes leading US and international law firms, multinational corporations and financial institutions. Sources reported that "the attention to detail is unparalleled – they care about the end results." They particularly appreciate the team's "ability to scale up quickly" for major projects. The organisation is headquartered in New York, and offshore work is handled from delivery centres in Hyderabad, in India. Core areas of work include early case assessment and document review for litigation, and contract review and management, as well as M&A services and research work. QuisLex also has notable expertise in handling document review for antitrust investigations.

    Cons

Be prepared for long and rewarding hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wish i could clone our management team! They can be spread pretty thin at times! I believe that our CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) has a couple of million miles logged on United Airlines! He's everywhere !

I have been working at QuisLex full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

More than good for freshers, interview and employment process all are smooth, pays hell of a starting salary to freshers, THEN THE ACTUAL GAME BEGINS...

    Cons

Stretching, no over time pay, you'll get to see midnight/ dawn sitting in the office, a bunch of jerks with no legal background keeps judging your work every seconds (A.K.A Quality Dept), worst HR policy ( you'll not even get your earned leaves at proper time), you need to do a lots of oiling/ buttering stuff to get the attention of the managers otherwise no matter how good you are at your work YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU DESERVE.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

bring change to the quality management dept, think twice before rejecting the earned leave of your employees, promote only those to Quality Checks who frequently gives you decent quality product, try to stop the oiling/ buttering stuff in the project rooms, change the QuisLex logo/tagline to " Only one thing matter to us : Our clients, nothing else."

-Hard work goes unnoticed almost every time.

I worked at QuisLex as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you have the patience to do very little and very boring work and get paid, this could be a dream job.

    Cons

Horrendous work hours that could mean that you don't get to go home for a day or two. It seems as though the clients in the US and elsewhere are unaware that the same few people are working day and night for them... Quislex is probably saying to them that there is a shift system... But there isn't!!!!! There is absolutely no work-life balance. The atmosphere is like a college campus - lots of inexperienced young law graduates running around in the hallways and just loitering. The bathrooms are disgusting. Everybody who thinks they have any power or seniority is condescending and rude. Employees are intimidated into working long hours and aren't allowed to go home until the manager decides what time to release them for the day. There's no such thing as weekends. The security is extremely weird - no cell phones allowed, no internet or email at your workstations... It's a horrible place to work. Stay away unless you are very good at clocking in and finding ways to keep yourself from going crazy in the loooong gaps of time that pass by very slowly before any actual work trickles in. Oh, and, even if you finish your work you may not be allowed to go home. They also fight with you when you ask for time off... Or they just don't approve it. Lots of ridiculous and sneaky internal politics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire everybody that's managing right now. Replace them with foreign trained managers who have better work ethic - those who can communicate effectively rather than scold their employees, those who know how to train employees, those who can manage time so that the little bit of work gets done in an 8-hour day rather than a 20-hour day... There is so much inefficiency and ineffectiveness at Quislex!
