Pros – not sure there are any...

Cons – -most of the administrators are incompetent
-the pay is atrocious, actually insulting...
-there are no resources or support for teachers
-staff is very unprofessional and cliquish

you're basically on your own. you will be thrown under the bus if the opportunity presents itself. being in this district is like being a sheep surrounded by vicious wolves.. especially if you have no prior experience or outside help working with this demographic.

Advice to Senior Management – i don't even know where to begin. for starters, the leadership needs a basic course on professionalism and objectivity in the workplace. next, they need a consistent, effective discipline and management plan that all teachers, staff, and admin must follow no matter who they are, what they did before, etc. it has to be a districtwide plan that everyone follows so that there is no room for anyone (teacher, student, whoever) to be confused about what the rules and expectations are. please do not show favoritism to *anyone*. you do that so much.. to teachers, students, staff... its really not good for morale. better fiscal management would take the district a long way. omg, i could go on forever.
