    Decent job for kids

    Team Member (Former Employee)
    Grand Rapids, MI

ProsWorked at Quiznos during college and before my summer job started up. Store management can be really nice and flexible if you have a busy schedule. While I was at Quiznos I worked two jobs and went to school and they worked around that and I still got a chance to work 25 hours a week. Getting discounted food and free food when someone makes a mistake was great too.

ConsIt seems like the higher the position the more careless they get. The owners don't care about their employees, whether they claim they do or not. My store GM was a GM at another Quiznos and we would exchange employees from time to time. He writes down mistakes you make whether they are minor or severe. Also they make you stress out when making sandwiches and make you get done with a sandwich when there is no one in line. Another thing I didn't like about working there was you had to be doing something ALL THE TIME. I can recall a lot of times where we would clean stuff that was already clean, or change out pans that were fresh just because we had nothing to do.

Advice to Senior ManagementCare about your employees more. Happy employees will make you more money. Theres no sense in making them do stuff for you while you sit on your phone and talk to your friends about whatever the heck you want to.

The work is not difficult and the pay reflects it.

    Cashier/Submaker/Wrapper (Former Employee)
    Ann Arbor, MI

ProsI worked for a Quiznos franchise. It was a good place to work as a second job because the work is not demanding and the shifts are not long. Management was good. Food quality was decent. Company standards were very good.

ConsLow wage. Not very much room for advancement at franchise store.

Advice to Senior ManagementCould provide more opportunities for growth within the company.
