I have been working at R&V Management full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – This company started small and has grown a lot, they are loyal to their employees and offer living on site to all employees, company has "employee appreciation days" The people are friendly and helpful.
Cons – They won't match your payments to 401k, you MUST give up your weekends.
Advice to Senior Management – Give more bonuses and raises to the people at the bottom of the pyramid. Hold more training meetings so we can keep up with the new technology.

I have been working at R&V Management full-time
Pros – Claim to have never laid off employees in the past, although this is debatable. Job security, easy work, ample opportunity for advancement.
Cons – Low pay and no bonuses or commission for the hourly employees. Assistant managers make hardly little more than leasing consultants. Only those at the very top or at huge properties seem to make livable wages. Questionable hr practices, such as using unpaid vacation without employee approval to cover tardiness.
Advice to Senior Management – Create a comprehensive set of company guidelines; fire the idiots who seem to thrive at the manager/assistant level; give some type of commission / bonuses for leasing performance; stop being so darn cheap!

I worked at R&V Management
Pros – There are a lot of properties in the area to work at. may be adding new properties soon. so may be opportunities.
Cons – owner is awesome. a lot of the regional managers are not too great and managers are fake and most worried about their own jobs. company is extremely cheap.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't be so cheap with everything. no leasing bonuses and most other bonus's are pathetic compared to other companies. employees are on call for maintenance issues instead of maintenance.

I worked at R&V Management full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – -Great Upper Management
-Training Program keeps your knowledge and experience fresh
-You gain a wide range of skills and knowledge
-Conservative company that maintains professionalism
-They've been around for awhile and are very stable in regards to job security and growing as a strong company.
-Bonus Opportunities
Cons – -Pay is not as high as competing property management companies
-Slow in implementing technological advances but they say it's because they want to use what they know what will work vs. jumping the gun on new products that may not work in the long run.
-Very conservative company also means they won't budge with strict dress code (i.e. if you forget to wear nylons one day); no alcohol at Holiday Party (they've had bad experiences many years ago); absolutely no personal use on their computers-they monitor.
