Freedom to develop new concepts and ideas and get them into production. Small cross functional teams allow those with multiple skills and talents to really shine.

Cons

Wishy-washy sales force and lack of foresight by sr. managment can make it hard to internally develop ideas. The company's unique set-up with it's China opperation can be both a benefit and a hindurance when developing new concepts at a target price. You'll also find the the company still has a number of individuals in key positions that may or may not be qulified for those roles. This dates back to when the company was privately held. There are sons, brothers and in-laws in some areas that are not helping the business progress forward.

Advice to Senior Management

Push your internal brands. You've got to learn how to make every aqcuisistion pay off 3-4-5 years down the road not just in the weeks after purchase.
