    Pros

When I worked there, they were always trying to approve processes and grow employees. Issues were addressed in a timely manner. Overall, they had an efficient organizational model and management style.

    Cons

With such a big corporation, there were a lot of mergers and moving of job responsibilities and therefore layoffs, etc.

26 years of company experience, media buying expertise, flexible hours, great sense of humor among staffers.

    Cons

For those looking for more brainstorming and team work, this company needs training.

    Advice to Management

Value and pay your loyal staff, to retain them.

    Pros

Relaxed work environment, great co-workers, very small office, casual dress code, company is not very popular and can definetly be seen

    Cons

Not a lot of responsibility given, pay was not competitive, low professionalism, not allowed to get paid overtime, pros outweigh the cons

    Pros

The days of being on hold for an hour to ask about your phone, video or Internet service are over! Typically one can speak with someone regarding any questions or concerns very quickly!

    Cons

The geographical area that the company covers is too small. It would greatly benefit the company if they covered more counties in Maryland besides Montgomery.

    Advice to Management

Spend more money on building a larger geographical footprint!

  8. Ok but not as competitive as other telecom companies

    Pros

good hours, ok pay, management is ok

    Cons

    Not enough training, heavy workload

    Advice to Management

consider the workload for the technicians. The amount that is deemed required does not add up to an eight hour day plus the drive time between jobs. The training and pay needs to increase.

    Pros

Great pay free cable, small but supportive staff

    Cons

You're expected to do door to door sales which is very inefficient

    Advice to Management

You're a good company. Maybe consider some more aggressive steps toward name recognition

    I worked at RCN

    Pros

Good salary and bonuses. Lots of training and generally a good place to work. Even after restructuring it was still a good place to be.

    Cons

Company kept relocating their operations center. Too many upper management personnel changes. Lost a lot of great people.

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees.

    Pros

I worked in the Chicago office, and absolutely loved our GM. He cared about each and every one of his employees. He gave us the opportunity to do our job, and prove that we were good at it. Good vacation policy!

    Cons

Consolidation: everyone had to wear many hats, and had more work than they could possibly get done. My GM understood, so I wasn't penalized, but it was hard for someone who wants to do everything perfectly.

    Advice to Management

The employees can only handle so much on their plates, and do it well. More staff is definitely needed!
