    Pros

Flexible schedule so it's convenient for students.

    Cons

Poor benefits. Not a lot of opportunities. Same pay irrespective of experience.

    Advice to Management

You don't get to voice out what you feel to management as they seem far away.

  2. Worse company to work for

    Pros

    The Clients, and down time.

    Cons

The office I worked in was probably one of the shadiest places I have ever worked
There are regulation violations everywhere but the are more often than not covered up by the management and mostly likely corporate as well. Although it is hard to be fired from this company it does happen on the rare occasion that they need a scapegoat for something that is not so easily covered up. And even though I do know that it does and will happen there is very blatant favoritism toward certain individuals and family members

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to come in and do a restructuring of the management staff.

  3. Very unprofessional atmosphere

I have been working at REM

    Pros

Pay, relationships with clients and some coworkers, in-home environment. Wearing whatever is comfortable. Learning and working outside of most people's comfort zone.

    Cons

Unfair treatment, favoritism, poorly qualified staff (including home managers), high turnover rate, people working there longer than you matter more to them. Even if their work is terrible they won't fire them. People working there 10 years don't have to do any work and boss around newer people. Made to feel like your work isn't important unless boss needs a favor. No pay raises at all. Neglect and abuse has the same discipline as missing an initial on a training paper.

    Advice to Management

Make sure employees are qualified, especially those running entire programs. Lots of great staff leave due to terrible management.

    Pros

I loved the clients! Wonderful people to work with.

    Cons

Watch the groups that are created at the homes you work at. If you don't fit it you might not end up making it. Watch who you say anything about also.

  7. They don't like to pay what you're worth. Also you do more work that is not included in you're job description.

    Pros

Enjoyed coworkers, fast pace job(if you're into it), break time 2-15 min breaks and 1-30 min lunch. Health and Dental insurance (you pay alot for it though)

    Cons

ignorance of the team leaders, if you're good at what you do they will over work you, pay is min wage, they don't like to give raises- once you're there after a year if they decide to it goes up 20 cents (if your late etc it goes lower)

    Advice to Management

Should be more caring to workers. Focus on the work going into shipments and out to stores instead of giving workers time out for coming in 5 mins late.. but those same employees would stay later and work an extra shift to make up for it. Shame on you!
