    Pros

    Leading Infrastructure company which has very good credit with Department of Public enterprises India. Outstanding rating mostly on MoU. Deals with prestigious projects like Metro Trains ( DMRC, BMRCL, Guwahati Metro, Patna Metro), Bullet Trains, Waterways, Airports

    Cons

    Being a consultancy firm good technical knowledge required, Perks are above average, Time bound promotions

    I worked at RITES India as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    1) Completely flexible working hours, as expected from a govt. organisation in construction industry.
    2) Good career growth. Test in every 3 years for a promotion. Not to mention, a test for direct promotion to DGM.
    3) Good working environment. No qualms about deadlines and pressure from boss.

    Cons

    1) Poor payment under the grade pay.
    2) Site is often in far away places with no modern luxuries to enjoy.

    Better training program will be appreciated.

    The best place for a civil engineer to learn and acquire skills in designing or at site.

    Cons

    The site life is mobile because the projects are of short duration and soon as the project gets complete the engineers are transferred to another site.

    No hard and fast rule for timings - good staff,behave well and good work environment.

    Cons

    Dont have much time and assitance for interns.
    No proper heed is paid to the interns -frankly - no one gets paid to teach u !
