I worked at RMM as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some really good, talented individuals coming up with amazing digital marketing solutions. Everyone I worked with were very reliable.

    Cons

I came on board to manage the website projects that had been put on the table. There wasn't a system in place for the company, so we had to invent everything as we went along.

    Pros

Casual environment Flexible work hours (can work from home if necessary, etc.) Little direct supervision

    Cons

Below average salaries Heavy workloads/high stress High employee turnover Sales people dictate every aspect of the business

    Advice to Management

Strive to make it a place people want to work. Turnover is very high because people are unhappy - overworked and underpaid. Start treating employees half as well as you treat clients and you'll see an improvement in morale and reduced turnover.

RMM (owned by Lin Media) is a unethical, unprofessional, embarrassing, and a bad company.

The ability to be gainfully employed in digital media sales. The chance to make a paycheck in a bad economy.

    Cons

The company is shady and have very unethical business practices. Management is unprofessional and very undependable. Staff is sloppy and makes tons of mistakes. Extremely high staff turnover rate. Salespeople gets fired easily. Senior sales staff (4 people) get treated very special. Upper management is terrible.

    Advice to Management

Learn to be ethical and dependable. Hire people that are actually talented. Stop gossiping and lying to employees.
