Terrible benefits and Culture

ProsGood pay and overtime hours

ConsAwful benefits and low morale and horrible working conditions. Cold office and dirty air.

Advice to Senior ManagementClean up the E. Hartford office (dirty air) and value the employees by having at least good benefits

ProsVery understanding and willing to work with you if you need time off or schedule changes for any reason. It is hard for a lot of people to find jobs lately, and it is very easy to get hired at RMS. The pay is really not that good, but it is better then not having a job at all. The hours are nice. Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30. Weekends off, 6 holidays off (Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day).

ConsBenefits are horrible. AIP (associate incentive plan) is very confusing and hard to understand. Due to a merge with another company (iQor), there have been a lot of changes to rules & policy, but upper management does not really understand all of these changes as they are rolling out, so they are not really able to provide a clear explanation to us. In order to be paid for the 6 holiday's that the office is closed for, you need to have PTO (paid time off). If you are not eligible for PTO or do not have enough PTO, you will not get paid for these days.

Advice to Senior ManagementBonuses need to be better and easier to understand!! Raises need to be easier to obtain (I was told during a review - these are done quarterly - that I am doing a great job, but in order to get a raise on my NEXT review, all I would have to do is meet my goal consistently for the next quarter. I did meet my goal from that point until the next review, but was still not eligible for a raise. The explanation I was given for why I did not get a raise was not clear at all).

ProsFlexible hours, reasonable management, good coworkers, relaxed enviornment

ConsLittle to no incentive/performance programs, opportunities to advance are limited. Pay is below average to average at best.

Advice to Senior Managementoffer incentives for better than average performance, there is little attention paid to those who work the hardest, and thus little reason to be that person when skirting by serves just as well.

ProsGood industry reputation, large & diverse base of customer relationships, international presence.

ConsBenefits package poor/expensive, no career training / additional training opportunities occurring other than on-the-job training.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate a company direction, a Mission, Vision, and Values, something for us to rally around. Where are we going? What is the plan for the future?
