    Merged with PRA

    CRA (Current Employee)
    Seattle, WA

    ProsSalary pretty good. That's all.

ConsCompany is more or less a staffing agency. Benefits are very poor. PTO not very good. Your experience will be entirely dependent on what sponsor you are assigned to work with as a contractor. No job security if sponsor doesn't renew the contract. The sponsor I work with is miserable. Recently RPS was bought out by KKR and have merged with PRA so assuming lots of changes will be in the works. Managers have very little contact with CRAs. Sponsor systems are NUMEROUS and terrible outdated. Basically I'm just waiting for the axe to fall...

Advice to Senior ManagementGive us advance notice please if you decide to give us the pink slips; people have lives and responsibilities.

    Sr. CRA

    Senior CRA (Current Employee)

ProsLike that the company places you on a bench if your contract with pharma co ends so that you do not get laid off.

ConsMgmt does not listen to the concerns of the employees. it seems as though the primary focus is meeting the needs of the client. Somewhere the employee's needs get tossed out the window. CRAs are far too busy and they expected to not only monitor but develop your territory as though we are in sales.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe concerned with the needs of your employees. Not that your focus should not be on customer satisfaction as well. However take time to actually listen to your employees and then maybe retention would not be a problem.

    In-house CRA

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsFlexible work from home for my project
worked with a great sponsor team

    Conssome micromanagement made work frustrating
no possibility to change job roles if you are not happy. I had to leave in order to advance career as opposed to moving to another, more challenging project.

Advice to Senior ManagementConsider internal job changes to keep employees challenged/happy as opposed to losing them to another company.
