    Pros

They are so few and far between it's not worth mentioning.

    Cons

No challenges other than churn, no thinking just get those quotes out. No wonder they are pulling out of classes so readily.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow a pair and admit where you have gone wrong.

    Pros

There are no pros to working for this organisation

    Cons

Demanding people managers, who have little to no understanding of the technical tasks at hand and simply wish to enforce policies without reference to common sense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at RSA Group full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

People, benefits, training are all pros. No salary increase in last few years but only voluntary redundancies

    Cons

Disagree with other reviewer about HR, 1 or 2 weak people in the function, but rest are great. Like rest of us, too much work with too few people. Management and new CEO needs to do something about that

I worked at RSA Group full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Pension was good and some other benefits around my job.

    Cons

Short term management changes, Never thought about the customer always the cost base, every year was a threat of redundancy or changes to working location. Very unsettling. Middle Management always looking to promote themselves at the detriment to the people they had responsibility for. Don't turn your back on someone unless you want a knife in it. Prior to Andy Haste CEO it was a great place to work. How a place can turn so quickly with all the wrong people climbing the ladders of promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look after your staff first who will then look after the customers, well looked after customers will make the business a great business. Don't let Offshorers have any contact with the customer in regards to claims and complaints.

    Pros

Good managers, best place to come for a few years to get training then leave to command good salary increase in the insurance market ;)

    Cons

Low pay, promised the world nothing forthcoming.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to bring pay inline with market otherwise will keep losing experienced staff.

Not bad for a little while out of university

    Cons

Leaders are largely incompetent, not helpful
    No chances to further yourself
Pay is bad for the amount of work you do
They fire employees who have been here 10+ years due to "restructuring"
Feedback we give leads to nothing
Everybody is looking for jobs elsewhere, understandably
    Good work goes unrecognized
    Very "cliquey"
The few and far between higher positions are given to external candidates

I have been working at RSA Group full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible working hours if your are on the correct contract and they are trying to change and grow.

    Cons

Constant risk of redundancy. No ways to progress unless you know the right people. Overworked and underpaid in relation to the rest of the market, generally going down hill. They have no loyalty to staff unless you are in the 'in crowd'

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I used to be proud to work for RSA not anymore. Please listen to level 5's and 6. Managers and higher up have their heads in the clouds and have no idea what the real world is like hence no growth.
