I have been working at RWE full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Really great team, good events during the winter and summer consulting days, skiing trip, close connection to the top management, nice office in the Lysegang

    Cons

Processes within consulting are not clear, projects are mainly focusing on cost-reduction and employee reduction as well as project management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create more transparency in the processes and admit that projects are mainly in the areas of project management and process optimisation

Values are announced rather than lived. Promotion largely networking based.

I have been working at RWE full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you don't want to work there are plenty of opportunities to come to the office and do as little as possible other than drinking coffee with colleagues

    Cons

Virtually no growth or development opportunities, no transparency, a lot of gossip. Market level compensation and benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Just replace the whole lot

I have been working at RWE full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Stable environment,
    Reasonable salary for your job,
    No stress,
    No responsibility,
    A lot of free time

    Cons

Nobody cares about company. Effectiveness is a word that should not be used there,
You can be hardly motivated to do anything at all. Even management does not care about anything,
Variable salary is one big joke,
Career progress possible if your boss or colleague leaves, dies or becomes pregnant,
Boring work. If you ask for something more challenging, people laugh at you,
Tons of promises and relatively high demanding interview when you enter company, but as you get in, you realize that trained monkey could do your job.
To make it short: ex-monopoly company full of bureaucracy with lack of flexibility

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire all people who do not work but who are only employed in the company (incl. most of management staff). Change motivation system and hire more people with high schools, rather then universities as they can do almost everything for lower salary

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give employees more chances to show entrepreneurship.

    Recommends

I have been working at RWE

    Pros

    Development and training opportunities.
    Acceptable level of financial rewards.
Flow of information between colleagues is good but not between management and you.

    Cons

Teams were downsized recently, and there is no guarantees that the senior management stopped here so at the moment the morale is not too high.
