I worked at Radiometer America
Pros – Excellent interaction with motivated team players on the regional level. Middle management generates a comfortable work environment and provides guidance and mentoring necessary for success as a business unit.
Cons – Corporate management could be more open in sharing information that effects field business units. Changes to equipment and software along with problems encountered is not always communicated or communicated promptly.
There is a tendency to handle personnel issues at a distance. They have a tendency to do things remotely and not try to put a human face on tough decisions.
Advice to Senior Management – Open and prompt communication of changes and problems encountered is a major need. You need to personalize your relationships with field personnel. Promotions, awards and recognition for jobs well done as well as admonishments and releases done at any level should be done face to face whenever possible.

I worked at Radiometer America full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Initially it was a very friendly and focused company that was the world gold standard for blood gas instrumentation. Very dedicated personnel.
Cons – Lack of new products. Current develoment of new medical device is over 3 years past due. Had multiple problems with current medical devices that took years to correct.
Advice to Senior Management – Very stringent atmosphere. Morale is very low overall.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Radiometer America
Pros – Very high quality products. Very educated and technically competent associates. Growing industry. Medical technology is the place to be. You can be very proud of the products.
Cons – Management only believes what they learn from Denmark. US salaries don't compare to competitive US companies. They are particularly interested and driven by sales and not by marketing.
Advice to Senior Management – Learn what is meant by "bottom up" marketing. Trust product managers to make decisions for products. Realize that American is not Denmark.
