    Pros

most people are very nice, good place to work your first job

    Cons

Drama, drama, drama with the management, human resources people don't do their job, all they car about is relationships and who they like. No overtime pay. People who do not qualify are doing supervising jobs just because their contacts and being the favorites of management. It'a not about the work, it's all about politics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

learn how to make a successful studio where people love to work at. Or just switch career.

    I worked at Rainmaker Entertainment

    Pros

Wonderful, talented people to work with. Office is in a nice neighborhood. Company has a good office with a great full-sized theatre and throws some fun work parties. If any new projects ever started it would be a good place to work.

    Cons

Very top-heavy with management, no new projects in a long while, don't treat employees with a lot of respect or provide career advancement opportunities. Client is a nightmare to deal with but as they are the only client they can get away with it. A lot of turmoil in the past 2 years...went from over 400 employees and many projects to barely over 100 employees and several projects. No job security, unless you're a senior executive. Opportunities aren't given to long-term, proven employees. Company shows no loyalty to their staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Without your staff, the company is nothing. Instead of spitting in the face of every one working in the DVD department by insisting on bringing in outside talent for the feature, use the talent that has been loyal and supportive. It will do wonders to improve morale, which is very low among those on the floor.
