    I worked at Ramada full-time

    Pros

started some renovations, nice lobby, and slightly renovated ball room
food was good, plates were nice but dated. terrible terrible terrible

    Cons

Empty promises of completing renovations of hotel and public space. Painting over wallpaper in guest rooms. Paychecks bouncing, vendors cutting off service because of non payment, not enough food for banquets. Their website says that they are a renovated property, they are NOT renovated, less than 10% of the guess rooms have even been repainted let alone remodeled.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

consider not purchasing another hotel with out having the capital to make the necessary improvements. Bouncing paychecks are never good for morale.

I worked at Ramada full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It was a job and some of the employees were nice to work with.

    Cons

Double shifts and lots of additional work beyond the job description. Overnight hours were long and dull because the owner lived there and I had to be very quite because they were only 10 feet from the front desk at night. Job only paid $6.25 per hour after my raise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees more and quit having them do housekeeping while on front desk shift.

I have been working at Ramada full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good employee rate perks across the globe at other Wyndham properties.
Semi-flexible schedule, depending on current staffing levels.
    All you can drink coffee.
    Sense of family.

    Cons

    Very limited advancement opportunities.
    No health/dental/vision benefits.
    Repetitive. Not challenging. Monotonous. Stressful.
Properties are independently owned and operated, so there's little structure or consistency.
