Pros
Global Brand, Great environment and colleagues. Values entrepreuneurship, ideas and work ethics.
Cons
The nature of the business is fast-paced and it is sometimes difficult to cath-up with events. There is always something coming at you very fast. Pressure can be high and delays short.
Advice to Senior Management
Give everybody the tools that they need to perform even better.
Pros
You are very involved in the goal setting process
You work with a partner so it could be a great experience
Cons
Everything is tracked and it takes time to track yourself.
Very horizontal organization. Not a lot of options for positions.
Advice to Senior Management
Management was great. Very honest, outgoing, but also could come across as too aggressive and sometimes cliquey.
Pros
stimulating environment that gives you a lot of possibilities to grow, you can take your carreer into you own hands. Lot of attention goes to training and coaching, really motivated and motivating colleagues.
Cons
work life balance is not always optimal
Advice to Senior Management
Organise your company in a more lean way.
Pros
On a mission to become the No.1 HR & Recruitment company in the world, and they make you feel like you are part of a global push for domination. Strong process and governance. Good training opportunities, too much sometimes.
Cons
Sometimes too much governance which seems to slow down the ability to achieve.
Could be more opportunities for those that don't want to take a management career path.
Salaries could be better to compete for the best talent.
Advice to Senior Management
In the fight to overcome key rivals like Adecco and Hays don't become like them, but beat them by remaining different.
Pros
Variety of roles and professions covered meand lots of profression opportunities
Big company benefits including share plan
International company which enables overseas relocation based on results and desire
Strong ethics
Cons
As company is changing, communication sometimes suffers. Strategic development is interesting but can lead to uncertainty. Recruitment market is currently very difficult which makes achieving good results somewhat harder than in the past
Pros
Large employer, with small remote offices
Hours are somewhat flexible
Relationship building opportunities
Cons
Quotas somewhat unrealistic
Salary increases are small
Advice to Senior Management
Offer more coverage on healthcare -- adoption, infertility
Offer more flexibility on hours -- work from home option
Pros
Friendly and approachable Executive Team, recruits young "green" professionals right out of undergrad, offers part time work for working mothers
Cons
Weak compensation, many many hours for return, every aspect of your position is micro-managed and scrutinized, Senior Management is removed from the actual happenings on the sales floor and is thus slow to implement strategies to address staffing trends
Advice to Senior Management
The pay imbalance between the sales floor and the senior leaders presents a rift in working for a management who feels very removed and disinterested in understanding the feedback of the rest of the company. I would suggest empowering their employees (in benefits and package) as a way to turn around in a bad economy
Pros
They pay their staff according to merit
Cons
Extensive hours and not enough holiday days per annum
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in training.
Pros
good work environment, solid link with Dutch Holding, training and professional growth
Cons
low salaries, not always very clear performence analysis and career growth
Advice to Senior Management
you should be more honest and clearer in communication. a more professional evaluation and consideration of the employees could have a great impac on the people engagement
Pros
Flexible schedule. You get to help others. You learn a lot as a note-taker for university lectures. You get to meet new people. You create your own workload, when work is available. There's a lot of freedom in this job.
Cons
Management is distant and only communicates through email and rarely over the phone. The amount of work coincides with classes so there's not as much work in the summer. You have to be careful of clients who don't want to do their own homework--know where to draw the line. Can be very competitive when it comes to signing up for work assignments; there are a lot of other support workers.
Advice to Senior Management
Create a website for job assignments (by location and time) where support workers can sign in and sign up. Its could make the job assignment process more efficient and easier to schedule.
