I have been working at Randstad Technologies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits are good. You have to negotiate though. It also depends on the client billing. You never know what your next client and billing rate it. Salary is on time. Since its staffing company, recruiters don't bother you as long as you are not out of job.

    Cons

Not much interaction with the company after you are staffed. Its pro and con as well becoz they can give some training like other companies. Nothing much to say. If your assignment ends, its the initial recruiter who has to find job for you wherever he/she is. The other account managers won't interact.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide more staffing assistance to the employees by not making them dependent only on the initial recruiter.

    Pros

-You get the sense from day ONE that upper management and your direct manager is incredibly dedicated to making sure you succeed even if you do not have industry knowledge.
-An incredibly professional yet fun corporate atmosphere.
    -Such a sense of accomplishment
-Co-workers take time out of their schedule to help support newer employees.

    Cons

Not one that I can think of.

I have been working at Randstad Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It is top 3 IT Recruiting firms. Great commission structure with no cap. Culture is fun, upbeat, and competitive. 401k match. If you put in the hard work you will see results. Great values and the managers really want to see their employees succeed.

    Cons

Long hours, encouraged to arrive in the office at 730 and discouraged to leave before 5:30. Most people work 50+ hrs a week. Not a lot of room to advance other than in commission. It takes 2 years to start seeing a lot of results. Low salary base. Account Managers play favorites.

I have been working at Randstad Technologies full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great organization, the really try to do a lot for their staff. Hit your weekly numbers and you will be fine.

    Cons

Within months of Randstad purchasing SFN Group (Technisource) many of the executives from Randstad were removed from the organization including the Global CEO, CIO and President. If they saw the writing on the wall, we all should see the writing on the wall. To this day we are still seeing members of the Senior Management team leaving. This should be a concern to current and future employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have a strong staff, relax and let them make you money.

I worked at Randstad Technologies as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

The recruiter was a good sell, reeled me in with talk of a great wage, support system and full benefits package. He did communicate quite a bit at the start. Once I started he back off and allowed me to work directly with the client keeping him out of the loop for the most part.

    Cons

Once I was on board I discovered the "benefits" were non existent. No vacation pay, no holiday pay, it had been "temporarily" suspended corporate wide. The health package I reviewed had premiums for half my check and came with a disclaimer stating that it didn't meet the federal minimum guidelines. Any questions relating to benefits I had for the manager were seldom answered. At the end of my work contract with the client I received no communication or follow up from the manager for a month. Oh and there was no bereavement leave for when my grandma died so I had to miss the funeral.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

communicate! How about some bereavement leave, vacation, holiday?

I worked at Randstad Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This was a good opportunity to get some experience and knowledge with the position and experience working for a very large company.

    Cons

Even though you have a 3 year contract, if the company you are working at changes direction, you are gone. My recruiter was very attentive and helpful while I was employed but didn't respond after my contract was terminated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

request that managers keep the consultants informed in regard to changes within the company you are working at. Sometimes you fell like you are in the dark and strange things are happening.
