    Pros

The best thing about Randstad is the people that work for the client that we work for. If it were not for them I would have left within weeks of Randstad taking over the temp service there.

    Cons

Work FT hrs with no benefits, vacation, holiday pay not to mention you won't get a raise from them no matter how long you work there.

Work- life balance, flexible work schedule, unit partner structure.

    Cons

Lack of resources, poor leadership, out dated strategies, micro managers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Randstad US full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The base pay is very competitive. Somewhat up to date on technology. The employees at the branch level are good to work with because you're all in the same boat.

    Cons

Expect to work 12+ hours a day and don't count on bonuses because when you do qualify for them they change the rules. If you like to be micro-managed by someone that doesn't have a clue of what goes on at the Staffing Consultant or Recruiter level then this is the company for you. The executive management team fails to communicate with you honestly. If you think you're in charge you're not because the executive management team will put a stop to it immediately. The hours are long and the expectations are unachievable. This company is all about the numbers and not the bottom line. If you try to take a day off then you have to make up your weekly numbers and if you don't you get demoralized for it. Way too many conference calls that have absolutely no benefit to them at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You hire people to run the branches so let them do it. Quit beating people up for not hitting their unachievable weekly numbers. WPI and PBDI - really?

    Pros

You have a job while you're looking for something else.

    Cons

You're micro-managed by upper management and goals are very unrealistic. You're told what to do and how to do it. You have no creative control how to grow your business. They sell you a dream making you think you have flexibility but it's all an lie.

I have been working at Randstad US full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Working remotely is the best part of this company, however they do not pay well. The medical benefits are good but the vacation time is not. They would be happy to have you live in your home office and think nothing of it.

    Cons

22 Billion dollar company that doesn't pay out bonuses and takes advantage of people shamelessly. They say they have a positive environment for employees but the reality is they are negative, careless, time wasters, with no regard for work/life balance. C grade talent at best. Also, management is a closely knit group-no outsiders allowed.

I worked at Randstad US full-time

    Pros

Great atmopshere, not too heavy workload, flexible with personal matters.

    Cons

recruiting process is not what it should be, databases aren't organized, systems are slow and don't aid recruiters.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get back to a smaller business feel instead of a corporate giant who can't control their individual branches due to micromanaging from executives that only look at random, sporadic metrics to make decisions for all.

I worked at Randstad US full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Making a difference in the professional attitudes of employees, acting as an advocate for the employees. Initial training/on boarding is well structured.

    Cons

Unethical, follows the legal guidelines but fails to consider the ethical implications. Unable to effect change as the client makes the decisions and the site manager is forced to comply.
