ProsMy colleagues were great, and there was a family feel, where everyone helps each other. The benefits were good, as was the work/life balance. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my time at Raritan.

ConsThe growth potential at Raritan was very limited, and raises were paltry. Disappointing, because I genuinely enjoyed this company.

Advice to Senior ManagementGroom entry-level employees for promotions.

ProsCompany was a small (<500) with a global reach and lots of future vision. They have an outstanding product line and do see the value in emerging technologies. Great project Managers (Richard, Naim and others) that really listen to the sales team. They do have a sense of family in as many ways as a company can and Ching-I is a great leader. He really understands that decisions have to be made, painful that some may be, but the company has a goal and they will achieve it. I just hope they don't go public as it will really screw up the culture there. They started a great bi-weekly training which I think was the greatest thing they could have done.

Truly some of the best people overall to work with.

ConsThey are doing what they can as fast as they can, but they need to really move some technologies further, faster. They need to drop DCIM as its a moving target in the industry. KVM is dying and they are right. A lot of emphasis is placed on the power management market and that is putting all your eggs in one basket. Diversify.

Advice to Senior ManagementSee Cons. Give the sales team as much support as you can. Don't impose impossible quotas.

    Good Company

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsOnce very family oriented, less so now but pretty good. Cool technology. Above average pay. Conservative but bold.

ConsAlways number 2 in everything they do. Close to number 1 but not quite. Always on the brink of greatness but never seems to be able to get over the hump.
