    Pros

Great compensation, benefits and leadership has a decent growth plan. Performers get advancement.

    Cons

High turnover rate among newly-hired employees reporting to the VP/GM level due to unclear performance expectations and excessive workload.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Organization is far too flat -- too many direct reporting relationships to the VP/GM causes numerous personnel problems, including unclear expectations. New hires reporting to the VP/GM have had about a 50/50 retention rate in recent years, and the only performance discussion that will be had is when being walked out the door, blindsided.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Replace middle management with the most valuable floor employees (of which there are very few)
