Pros – Great compensation, benefits and leadership has a decent growth plan. Performers get advancement.
Cons – High turnover rate among newly-hired employees reporting to the VP/GM level due to unclear performance expectations and excessive workload.
Advice to Senior Management – Organization is far too flat -- too many direct reporting relationships to the VP/GM causes numerous personnel problems, including unclear expectations. New hires reporting to the VP/GM have had about a 50/50 retention rate in recent years, and the only performance discussion that will be had is when being walked out the door, blindsided.

I have been working at RathGibson full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Health Benefits, decent pay compared to similiar companies
Cons – Extreme workload with very little to no training, poor middle management, company focuses on quantity over quality
Advice to Senior Management – Replace middle management with the most valuable floor employees (of which there are very few)
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
