Current Employee – been working at Rayonier
Pros – Rayonier is very flexible, the people are honest with you, you know where you stand. Conservative, so we make it through the tough times and excel in good times.
Cons – Rayonier runs really lean on people. You have a lot of work to do, and it is sometimes hard to do a really good job because you have to keep so many balls in the air.

Current Employee – been working at Rayonier
Pros – Not many Pros. Hiring new management from the outside (ex IP or GP) has completely changed the culture of Rayonier.
Cons – With new management came their old ways of treating people. Almost overnight, employees (especially long term) were treated with a great deal of disrespect. There was no acknowledgement of the fact that these folks had been doing something right, as Rayonier was one of the survivors in the forest products industry.
Advice to Senior Management – Nothing really to say.

Former Employee – worked at Rayonier
Pros – Good communication. Rayonier is a good education in how things are done right. I would call it the "real business school".
Cons – Compensation is at the lower end for a company of their size.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the good work.
