I worked at Razorfish full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – I learned a ton from a lot of smart people. Hard to find a better culture in this industry. Seriously, it's an awesome place to work. Many of us consider it "the good old days". They also pay really well.
Cons – Timing on promotions can be head scratchers. Get used to someone getting a promotion who has more years experience, but doesn't know basic media definitions and media buying best practices. I've also heard their media business is dwindling, but it's a tough business to be in (everyone says they can do the same thing).
Advice to Senior Management – Advance your talent. Had some attrition due to lack of promotions.

I worked at Razorfish full-time
Pros – Office get alot of light. .
Can walk from Penn Station easily.
Some big client names.
Cons – People at very top look short term.
Many jobs sold to low so we are under pressure for profit margins.
Head of technology department likes to hear himself talk. Those who seem to indulge him most do well even if not good worker. Promotions based on if he think you "cool" and not on preformance.
Many unfriendly people-hipster
Advice to Senior Management – Think long term as you are ruining companies name.
Watch egos at top. Smart employees know you just all talk but out of touch with tachnology basel.
Give us phones to use when we go overseas if you want to contact us.

I have been working at Razorfish full-time for more than a year
Pros – Your coworkers will be fabulous at Razorfish - they are really good at recruiting smart, interesting people. There are also good benefits in terms of time off (although it can often be hard to take all the time you are offered).
Cons – Not all of the work is that interesting these days...and there are many late nights or intensely long weeks. It is rare to work less than 50 hours a week, and it is often much, much more.

I worked at Razorfish full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Some of the brightest minds in Web development and Marketing work at Razorfish developing exciting new campaigns for a variety of clients.
Cons – Parent company has done a good job of limiting (or being used as an excuse to limit) compensation to rank and file employees while management continues to receive bonuses. FTE employees routinely overworked without time off. More then once an employee has missed a vacation due to work deadlines being extended and poor resource management.
Advice to Senior Management – When forced to cut head count by the parent company you should have cut a few managers instead of front line workers.

I have been working at Razorfish full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great work life balance, and just amazing amazing people to work with - enormous learning opportunities just through your peer. Great thought leadership and vision from the directors
Cons – Not a lot of work is rotated - no matter how many skills you develop. Sometimes leadership may have no say in your career as well

I have been working at Razorfish full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Beautiful new office. Some great work coming out - there are smart people who can generate some edgy ideas and build really beautiful experiences. Big-name clientele.
.
Cons – Easy to get lost in the crowd, and often times senior management is clueless as to what talent is right under their noses. Meetings/brainstorms rarely have an organized agenda and often have too many invitees. Project requirements are voiced to various teams on an as-needed basis rather than upfront, resulting in them playing catch-up and having unnecessarily tight, last-minute deadlines. Their practice areas are so silo'd that projects sometimes start to resemble the game of telephone as they move from phase to phase.
Political, self-aggrandizing environment. A little bit of an identity crisis and growing pains as the company balloons in size yet tries to maintain its original start-up essence.
Advice to Senior Management – Fix the organizational/communication disconnect. Improvement in project management as well as some sort of framework for how project will be staffed/communicated is sorely needed. Get to know what talent/capabilities you already have working for you already before looking elsewhere.

I have been working at Razorfish full-time
Pros – The Emerging Experiences group is doing the most interesting work, but they operate as a discreet unit with its own rules and governance. More of the company should employ their model.
Cons – Razorfish is a top-heavy machine that cares more about its billing than its people. They will throw people at anything with money attached. That's great for top-end salaries but horrible for retaining stellar talent.
Advice to Senior Management – Rank & File employees don't understand margins and shouldn't be dragged into conversations about protecting the company's margins. Get out of our way and allow us to do great work.
