I have been working at RealPage full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity to move up or move into new groups, ability to attend user conferences, high integrity.

    Cons

There is a lot of work to do and there is never one minute when I feel like I am "done". Not a bad thing really, but sometimes can be exhausting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be great if Senior Leaders were more visible to individual contributors.

Working at RealPage was Plan B for me, but it quickly became a better fit than Plan A would have.

I have been working at RealPage full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I put a lot of effort and pride into my work and I feel I have received satisfactory recognition for all that I have done for the company. I look forward to continuing my efforts with RealPage to help make it a better company.

    Cons

The direction of the company often seems shrouded in a cloud of mystery because it feels that leadership is out of touch with its people on the front lines, the ones who carry the company forward on their backs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to management is to open communication with all employees, even those on the front lines, to help them feel that they are a vital part of the organizations success and advancement into the future. "Take care of your people, and they will take care of you."

    Pros

I loved the trainin program and still love the one on one contact and training i get with my supervisors and TL. It is a great family oriented enviroment with tons of incentive and oppurtunity to succeed.

    Cons

None so far. They give you ample oppurtunity and flexibility to grow and to live a productive and enjoyable life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Excellent Training Program. They walk you through all of the possible scenarios in order to be able to perform your job well. The week long training is very helpful. You meet great people. The work is hard and there are alot of details. Im not sure how Im going to meet the monthly quota because you cannot FORCE people to move into a community if they are not ready.

    Cons

More hands on training during the in person training. Human Resources Presentation should be in person. More interaction with your fellow team mates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too soon for me to give any advice.

I have been working at RealPage full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

RealPage is in a unique position in the market, they are actually quite different then many of the competitors, so there is a deep sense that what I am working on will have a big impact in the industry and that is rewarding.

The people are also great to work with. I know not all teams have the same culture, but the team I belong too and interact with have amazing culture. I am working with people who are immensely talented, driven and fun to work with.

This is also a place were I feel like we have the ability to think outside the box without being put down or ridiculed. Its great to tackle big industry problems with smart people, and re-imagine how things could be for our customers.

    Cons

As some reviewers mentioned, there has been lots of change in the SF office and its been hard at times. Communication was not always what it should have been, but that has improved quite a bit over the last 60 days. There is some new leadership and some of the old leadership is gone, anytime this happens, there is going to be some fall out. Overall this team is in a better place coming through it then we were.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the communication open. flowing, and regular! Its helped a ton.
More events for the family folks including kids and spouses.

I have had the opportunity to learn and work with several different systems. I feel like I get full support from all management.

    Cons

I don't feel that new employees are informed of the functions of each product module. This would be helpful in doing an effect job.
